An incredibly underrated album. I can honestly say there is not one song that i dislike on Warning. I can see why it didn't sell as well compared to Nimrod, but if it had been released by a different band, I bet it would have done brilliantly.

I have a theory on this. I think it's music snobbery. It isn't perceived as "cool" to like a band's most popular album so they choose the album that didn't sell as well.

I guess some people might have illegally downloaded it too.

Every album has millions of illegal downloads, what do u expect? I think that's a bad reason...
Even a friend of mine downloaded all the albums.

I actually got a friend that Jackass fits to. It's kind of fun... I always told him that song was made for him, but the funny part is he don't understand english so he doesen't see the point lol.

Warning:'s a damn good album! The 30-second silence at the end of Macy's Day Parade does my head in though, and Misery reminds me of ¿Viva la Gloria?. Just cause it's bouncy.

Blood, Sex and Booze is like pr0nification on record. XD

Warning: was the first Green Day album I heard. So it's pretttty high up in my good ratings. Even if it wasn't the first one, it'd still be pretty high up :]

I fucking hate music snobbery, you're only cheating and fooling yourself. Why can't people just be honest? >.>

Anyway, I agree with Shell, really great and different album, I don't get why it didn't do so well. I'm currently obsessing (and learning to play Very Happy) Misery and the part in Deadbeat Holiday "Christmas lights in the middle of August" with the cute chinking of bells always reminds me of my birthday, though its not really in the middle of the month D:

I completley agree. At the end of the day you're the only one missing out by not being honest. I think if you lie about stuff like your favourite album by a band, then you can't really be as much of a fan as you're making out to be, if that makes sense.

I'm currently obessesd with Castaway and Macy's Day Parade.

I know, right, it annoys the crap out of me. Agreed on how they're clearly not that much of a fan if they lie about their love for them.

Castaway is so fun live, I was obsessed with Tune in, Tokyo... after I got it for Christmas last year. I can play Macy's Day Parade Smile Havn't played it for ages!

I got the MDP bass tab off the internet, but it doesn't have the kinda descending bass bit, the two notes right before the kinda middle eight bit when there's no singing, which annoyed the hell outta me cause I can't figure it out and I can't find another tab D:

Warning has the most awesome lyrics of all the albums IMO. I mean... Just look at Misery and Deadbeat Holiday, insane awesomeness!

It's an album I can listen to over and over and not get sick of. Even when I'm not in a music mood (which is very rare, it means that I'm either massivly pissed off or really sad), I'll sit and read the lyrics to Minority, Hold on and Deadbeat Holiday and the world doesn't seem so bad anymore. They give me hope.
