searra's mess

Post by i_am_here on Sun Jul 26, 2009 2:34 am

i call this " the 8:10 To No Where"

Frozen fate
clings to the last dying strand of hope
in a decaying world during a lost time.

i've got more, a lot more, if anybody cares for more, let me know. @ green_day527@yahoo.com
this is supposed to be a story, but it is composed of several poems.

okay.

Vacent spaces, filling the holes in my heart, never fading away.
I close my eyes, and fall into the empty slots, that line the long, broke road home.
I carry the last of the angles in my arms, bringing him to his final resting place that sits on the
caved-in remains of the fortress of hope.

His life, cut short, thrown like a stone that's been tossed in a frozen pond,
where all of his dead dreams lay, waiting for the time that they will live again,
a time that never comes, until it is too late for him to live them.

It's been a deadly dance, the terminating tango.
It takes two to tango, so one of us must go..
A final "good bye" gets lost in the crowd of one, the crowd of me.

A somber, sullen good bye, uttered from the lips of his fading figure.
No one around, no helping hand to hold him back, from the fate that has become of him.
fallen from where he was, to show up at death's door, filled with an internal plauge of regret,
that eats at his body until there is nothing left.

that's all i have of it right now, i'll have the rest posted up tomorrow, cause i have to get the rest of this tale found.

Wow, that's really moving. I think it encourages someone to want to write poems, just like this one. It does to me at least. I hope I'm not coming off as a numbskull, but is it about loosing someone, I mean this person is he someone you've lost?
